PEEK / POLYESTER ACETONE
This is a crystalline thermoplastic. Low flammability and self-extinguishable, with reduced smoke density. Very good dimensional stability. Excellent gliding behaviour, resistance to friction and wear and tear. Optimal rigidity, solidity and tenacity ratio. Very high resistance to high frequency radiation. good machining properties with removal of chips. Good adhesive and welding properties. High resistance to thermal deformation so it enables continuous use with extremely high temperatures. Good electric insulating properties at a wide range of temperatures.

Main characteristics
- High chemical resistance to almost all organic and inorganic dissolvents. Resists hydrolysis up to 280ºC. Great resistance to radiating energies, especially the types reinforced with fiberglass. Low chemical resistance to concentrated nitric acid and some halogenated hydrocarbons.
Usual use
- Given its extraordinary mechanical, thermal and chemical characteristics, It is particularly used in the aerospace, electronics and automotive industry, in many cases as a replacement for metal parts. Cased in wire and cable, conduct plates, parts for hot water meters, friction journals, etc.
