PTFE 25% Carbon (POLYTETRAFLUORETHYLENE)(TEFLON)
Linear chain polymer with great molecular length. It has a structure formed by long chains of fluor saturated carbons that give it a series of chemical, mechanical, electrical and thermal properties that enable it to meet the industry's strict requirements. This PTFE with carbon has good thermal and dielectric conductibility. It is resistant to loads with a low coefficient of friction, its chemical resistance and resistance to wear and tear is high.

Main characteristics
- Excellent behaviour to compression and resistance to wear and tear. Good thermal conductivity. Low permeability. It is one of the most inert loads, except in acidic environments where fiberglass behaves better. Its carbon content makes it anti-static. It is good for moist use
Usual use
- Used in seals where great resistance to wear and tear under high pressure is required: piston rings for unlubricated compressors and journals.
